National Diaper Need Awareness Week | Sep. 27-Oct. 3
Diaper need – the lack of a sufficient supply of diapers to keep a baby or toddler clean, dry, and healthy – remains a serious and pervasive issue that impacts the physical, mental, and economic well-being of U.S. children and families. UWSC believes that in order to meet our kindergarten readiness goal, we must address this critical need for families.
We are hoping to distribute 300,000 diapers this year, but in order to do that we need DIAPERS! For this drive we're looking to gather 36,000 diapers.
Will you join with us and support families in our community? We invite you to host a diaper drive. It is simple - gather diapers during the week of September 26 - October 3. This is National Diaper Need Awareness Week! We will provide you with everything you need to make your diaper drive successful.
Drop off locations!
From September 27-October 3, you can find a diaper drop at any of the following locations:
Thank you to those who have volunteered! We couldn't put this on without you.
Want to host a diaper drop?
We're looking for businesses around Skagit County to help our drive by acting as a host for a drop location! We'll stop by the week of the drive to drop off a donation box, as well as provide some talking points for the drive.
If interested in helping either as a drop off location or in-kind donation, please contact Ana at firstname.lastname@example.org
